This is a sparkling drink. This energy drink in a can is obviously trying to compete with red bull, although it does so with more natural ingredients, such as acai, acerola, Guarana, and 80 milligrams of “Natural Caffeine.”

Review of the Sambazon's Amazon Energy Acai Drink

The acai energy drink looks like lightly transparent red wine or sparkling grape juice, as seen in the picture.

Although the back of the bottle says 'lightly carbonated' the carbonation level is pretty high, much like a red bull. It smells is faint, like a sparkling wine or grape juice would be, but it's taste is strong and of grapes and a little bitter, presumable from the caffeine and Guarana.

Oddly, the first taste that hits the palate when drinking this is not unlike beer... But that is quickly subdued by the bitterness and fruity overtones.

Keeping in mind that their competition, Red Bull, tastes even more bitter, this is clearly a more satisfying experience in an energy drink.

You can grab a 12-ounce can of Sambazon's Organic Amazon Energy drink from your local health food store, such as a Whole Foods market. Be sure to grab it refrigerated, and it should run you between $3 and $5 per can.
