What We Review

We have been asked by many readers what our criteria is for choosing which products we review. In a nutshell, the answer is “whatever we can get our hands on,” although we do have some rules.

Our actual criteria in selecting acai berry products to be reviewed are:

1. They must contain some acai berry (pulp, powder, or juice) as a listed ingredient.

2. They must be commercially available in the continental USA. (Grocery and health food chain store products are preferred, although anything that ships nationwide is acceptable.)

3. They must not be available online only, especially if part of an “Acai Berry Free Trial,” which is a particularly nasty online scam going around the net right now.

Distributors Note:

Your suggestions & product information are deeply appreciated, but due to the large number of Acai berry product MLM companies, we can not grant any links nor references to the sales or sign-up pages of distributors. We will gladly accept product donations to be reviewed, however!

If you strongly feel that an Acai-based product that meets the criteral listed above should be reviewed on our site, and isn't already listed, we'd like to hear about it. Please send us an email through our contact form telling us about that product, and we'll do our best to put it on the roster. 

Naturally, we can make no guarantees that it will be reviewed, since availability in our area might differ from yours. However, we accept all product donations (that won't spoil during the shipping process) and those products sent to us WILL be reviewed fairly and placed on this site.
